RIVERGREEN PATIENT SURVEY
The practice is undertaking a short survey to gauge patients awareness of new services currently being provided and also for feedback on potential extended access and preferred consultation method.
The survey questions have been compiled with input from our Patient Participation Group.

NHS COMMUNITY PHARMACIST CONSULTATION SERVICE
Patients contacting the practice with a minor illness for a GP appointment may be offered a consultation with an NHS community pharmacist working with our practice.
Conditions covered by this service include bites and stings, cold, flu and congestion, hay fever, earache, skin problems and cystitis
With the patient’s consent, a secure electronic referral will be sent from the practice to the community pharmacy and then the pharmacist will contact the patient to arrange the consultation.
A post consultation message is sent to the practice after completion.
ONLINE APPOINTMENT BOOKING
From Monday 6/6/2022 the online appointment booking system will be re-instated.
There will be GP telephone appointments to both pre book 2 weeks in advance and also on the day.
PLEASE NOTE - WHEN BOOKING A TELEPHONE CONSULTATION THE CLINICIAN COULD PHONE YOU AT ANY TIME THAT DAY - THE TIME GIVEN WHEN BOOKING MAY NOT BE THE ACTUAL TIME THAT YOU ARE CALLED.
In addition, patients will be able to book a telephone consultation with either the Practice Pharmacist if requiring a medication review or with one of our First Contact Practitioners (Physio) for help with back, neck, joint pain.
Face to face appointments will also be available for booking for blood test with one of our HCA’s or smear tests with one of our practice nurses.
Please take care when booking your slot and ensure that you have chosen the correct clinician for the consultation that you require.

The surgery has been successful in getting funding to increase security. Part of this has gone on CCTV to keep patients, staff and the premises safe.
Please be aware going forward CCTV is in operation on site.
